HIICAP Coordinator - PT
Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services is looking for a part time Coordinator for their Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance Program – HIICAP. The HIICAP Coordinator is responsible to provide direct information, assistance, and counseling to current and newly-applying Medicare recipients. The Coordinator works closely with state and federal programs and private insurance companies to ensure that clients receive health insurance and prescription drug coverage that best meets their needs and means. The Coordinator also assists clients with Medicaid related benefits and information. The position requires in-home and in-office client meetings, as well as carrying out outreach/educational events.
Associate's Degree in a related field with 2 years’ experience working in a customer/client relation position is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy; ability to communicate effectively and confidentially in written, oral or electronic formats; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a highly-focused and competent manner. Proficiency in computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
