Wheelchair Ramp Program for Local Homeowners through Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, Inc.
Ramp Up is a program created and run by Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County that gives qualified local homeowners the opportunity to have a wheelchair ramp built by volunteers at virtually no cost to the homeowner. Ramp Up is funded by the incredibly generous support of IUE-CWA who show their continued dedication with every ramp constructed to building a stronger community where every homeowner is able to easily access their own home. Do you or a homeowner you know need a wheelchair ramp? Go to http://schenectadyhabitat.org/rampup/ to complete an online application. For more information, call 518.395.3412.
Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Through Ramp Up and the life-changing support of IUE-CWA, homeowners who already have a decent place to live can continue to live in and easily access their own homes, today and into their future aging.
